Smugglers Beach, 2015″Bass River Pirate and his Treasures”

Greg and his team of sculptors will be returning to Cape Cod this year for the 7th Annual Yarmouth Summer Celebration Kick Off this June.  The sculpture trail will continue to feature the longest exhibit row of sand sculptures in the world,  Yarmouth’s Sand Sculpture Trail.  Greg Grady and son, Greg J. Grady, will be joined by a their  team of world class sculptors whose recent sand sculpting travels included  trips to Dubai, India, China,  Kuwait, England, Russia, and Australia.

The sculpture trail completion is set for the 28th of June, with the unveiling of the large   exhibition sculpture  located at Bass River Beach set for the grand finale. To kick off the summer and start the trail we create 2 signature sculptures to be located  at the Yarmouth Chamber of Commerce and the Rt.6 Welcome Center for Memorial Day Weekend. You can find the team on the Cape working the trail from June 18th-28th.

Sand Sculpture Trail

Our team of professional sand sculptors will be creating customized three ton sculptures for local businesses. Thus far, some thirty businesses have committed to the sand sculpting program, making it the longest sand sculpting “trail” in the world… This is just one of the many activities to be staged during the week long event.

A Celebration map (see below) and program will designate the location of the individual business sculptures, including, of course, the larger exhibition sculptures that will be created at Bass River Beach and Chamber of Commerce office. The sculptures completion date is set for June 28th. A “Sand Sculpture Scavenger Hunt” contest will be staged for visitors and residents alike to photograph the many sculptures and post their pictures to the event’s Facebook page (see below link). A drawing will be held on Labor Day with a grand prize featuring a two nights stay at a Yarmouth lodging property including complimentary breakfast and dinner each day.  The grand prize will be awarded to the individual or family who creates the best portfolio of sculpture photographs. Several runner-up prizes will also be awarded for those who may not have a chance to visit every piece art exhibit. We look forward to seeing the photographs and look forward to seeing you at the event.
